Sarah Gucker is a student from Alaska (United States of America) who is now in La Rioja studying Spanish and working as an Au Pair in a Riojan family.
Next, we ask Sarah Gucker a series of questions about her experience in La Rioja Spanish School by taking an “Intensive Spanish Course“, which she very kindly wanted to answer:
Entrevistador (Ent.): How did you get to know La Rioja Spanish School?
Sarah Gucker: My boss told me that this is the school that her previous Au Pair had attended and they liked very much to learn Spanish.
Ent.: What do you think about the teachers and classes at this school?
Sarah Gucker: Everything went very well, the teachers have helped me a lot with my Spanish. Also, I met many friends from different countries of the world.

Ent.: Tell us, how is your day to day in La Rioja?
Sarah Gucker: I get up at 7:00 in the morning and come to the Spanish school at 8:30. After the classes at 14:00, I go to eat something sometimes with my friends and other times alone. My working hours are from 17:00 to 21:30. After work, I usually go to a bar for tea and answer messages

Ent.: What is your opinion about Logroño and La Rioja? Do you consider it a good region to live?
Sarah Gucker:I love La Rioja and yes, I think it is a good region to live. I consider that the city of Logroño has all the things that you may need. Also, it is not too big, it is very quiet to live and the people are very nice. I would like to return here in the future to live a little more in this region and improve my Spanish too.
Ent.: During this time, have you visited any nearby city or town?
Sarah Gucker:Yes, during my time here one of the things that I liked to do is some stages of the Camino de Santiago, in addition to visiting Navarrete, Viana or Laguardia.
Ent.:
Sarah Gucker:Yes, I would recommend living here to learn Spanish, because it is a good city to live and where you can have a good immersion to learn Spanish.
